hey everyone, I'm using a Focusrite octopre and a pro tools le 7 system with the 002 factory board. Using an optical cable to connect the two, but i cant figure out how to assign the optical in to a track let alone which channel of the octopre..can anyone share their expertise?

awesome sounds easy enough, do you know if this will also leave channels 1-8 active?

I'm doing this from memory, so YMMV. Have the Octopre set to 44.1 and turned on. Turn on the 002. Start the computer. Turn on PT. Go to the hardware setup and set the clock to ADAT. Go to the Inputs setup. PT should recognize channels 9-16 as active. You can rename the something like Octo 1 through Octo 8, as desired.
