Sel0001 13 February 2020 roland, drum triggers, trigger, drum, roland tm-2,
I am looking into buying a Roland Tm-2 but am a little confused about which cords I need to get to make my intended trigger setup work.
I intend to use a Roland PD-8 Dual Drum pad, a mono snare trigger, and a mono bass drum trigger.
Even though the TM-2 only has 2 inputs, I am pretty sure I can achieve this setup by using some kind of splitter with the two mono triggers.
Can anyone tell me if this setup is possible and which cords I am going to need to make it happen?
Thanks for any info!

It appears you can split the trigger inputs to assign and access the head and rim samples separately. In theory, playing 4 separate samples from the TM-2. You would do that by using something like an "insert cable" with goes TRS to dual TS. (The Tip of the TRS feeding the Tip of TS#1 + the Ring of the TRS feeding the Tip of TS#2 = the Shield of the TRS connected to the Shields of both TS#1 and TS#2) as illustrated on Page 7 of
