I little food for thought
I recently finished a session using acoustic guitars, via the Sebatron 2000e,and,PreSonus Eureka.
I must say----Im not all that upset that I purchased the Eureka,
the one feature of the unit,is that you can bypass the preamp section, and use the compressor, and eq,with great results, the preamp section in the Eureka, isn't all that bad,but it doesnt even come close to the Seb,so with that said,I was able to get that real nice tone from the Seb,and use the Eureka for comp, and eq.
I was able to record the acoustic using different methods(double tracking, miced or direct) and get real nice resultsthe acoustic guitarsounds likea real acoustic guitar!
Just wanna take the time to thank Kurt for the advise ,and Steve for the help

That's great to hear Eddies ...

Another way to get there is with a ~Sebatron~ THORAX mic pre / DI, EQ and Tube OPTO compressor.

I just got one and I am checking it out. Nice on bass, good on electric guitar.

The compressor section is really wild. I can get very out of hand, for those of you who like that "Distressor Thing" ... but with a little careful tweaking, it can be set to keep a lid tight on the gain transparently with no sonic artifacts.
