Sebatron VMP-4000e Pad Value mod ??

I have an older VMP-4000e with the -30db pad switch. I notice the newer ones have a -25db value on the pad switch. What do I need to do (component swap) to change my pad value to the newer -25db spec. I have major soldering skills....

Change 22k to 39K.

Hi Dave , apologies for the late reply.

You need to locate the negative feedback resistor that sets the gain for the first stage.
This value changed slightly as designs changed but is generally around 22k to 27k located in the vicinity of the connector associated with each channel.

Having located that resistor... you need to change it to 39k...

However , 47k might be in the cracks but sounds a little sweeter...
