I am broadcasting for radio and needing to hear myself as well as music to get proper mixes and and also using them for studio headphones for vocal work. I am looking to only spend around $100CDN but i dont need anything too amazing i just want to make sure i get the best bang for my buck, if anyone has suggestoins that would be great, or even a certain brand they recommend for that price...sennheiser, koss, AKG, thanks for any help.

I think it's hard to suggest headphones because we all hear things differently and also FEEL things differently.

Aside from suggesting a SEALED pair (closed, NOT open air design-this will avoid bleed into the mic and increase isolation) I'd say you have to wear them and listen to them yourself. The fit on your head is very important as well.

For that budget there are some good models from AKG, Fostex and others.
