When I open samp and open a song, even the included demo, there is a few second delay before it starts playing. After that, as long as I haven't closed the DAW, every song starts just fine. If I close out of samp and restart it, the same thing happens every time.

Does anyone have a clue what might be up or have this same problem?

The introduction of audio in social media

Our future platform will include text to speech format. Meaning, we can talk and record or text will reply comments back in speech. What are your thoughts on this? Would you use this? Would a text to speech format be helpful in pro audio forums?

Hi all . I'm new to both this forum and to STEMS. I am using RipX to rip my stems and my DAW is Ableton live.

As anyone knows the success rate with ripping stems is a bit hit and miss. Sometimes the main instrument stem/track comes out badly ...words to describe the sound would be very fussy, phasey, broken up, space-age, clipped etc. (if you know you know !)

Does anyone know if there are any modern devices that do the same thing as the Roland SD-35 MIDI player? It was a great piece of hardware for playing general MIDI files. If not, what is the best way to play GM files via a Windows laptop with a good quality sound module?

so I got a new Motu M2 Interface about a month ago. Since then there are periodic buzzing sounds coming from the Headphone Amps at "random" times. Sometimes it runs 3 hours without a Problem and sometimes the buzzing happens twice in 5 minutes. Turning the Interface off and on again "fixes" the buzzing temporarily.

This plugin is sort of a niche product, but could be the best sounding plugin available as far as hardware modelling. Its similar to a convolution reverb, but uses impulse responses from all sorts of hardware. The demos I've heard are quite impressive.

I've noticed several daws are implementing a form of hybrid buffer (reaper, studio one, cubase?, Possibly others) where there is a separate buffer for the audio playback tracks and the tracks record enabled.
