Alesis imultimix 8 usb
I have this mixer but the power connector has come off on the back and no idea where the wires solder back to the power connector so if anyone knows how to solder the connector and what colour goes to each pin i can then repair the mixer

Shure 545S Series 2 Repair
Greetings,
I have an older, used, "patent pending," Shure 545S Series 2 (pistol grip) microphone, and I'm gradually fixing it, having first reassembled the switch in the handle section. I do get sound from the mic, but it is a little on the quiet, "hollow," and less low-frequency side. I'm using it as high-impedance.

Mastering transfer console finished
We have been working on this for the past two and a half years and it is finally finished. My tech wiz, Rhys Davies, built the whole unit himself and wired it. We had lot of changes along the way but it works GREAT and we got exactly what we wanted. S/N -95.5 dBM, Distortion .0005%, Frequency Response 20 t0 20 KHz +/- .5 dB.

Quick and Dirty Recording
I had to fix my computer - lost the licences in a silly mistake, so to check all was back up and running - I tried recording some stuff and it sort of turned into a song - The only mics I'd not taken to the other studio were two very old Shures - SM61 and 63 - both omnis. quite a bit of wind noise and a bit poppy, but not really much I could have done without going and getting some stuff.

Our updated mastering room...
Picture of our updated mastering studio. My interns and I have been working on this since the beginning of summer. New bass traps, all wiring redone, new setup of the mastering desk and all equipment checked for proper operation and phase. BIG JOB FOR MY INTERNS AND THEY DID PROFESSIONAL LEVEL WORK!!!

Do VCA's effect bussing gain stages.
Hey I've been thinking about setup of a new template. I generally use a fair bit of bussing for submix/groups. Like grouping the kik and snare and tom drums to their own bus, then feeding those busses to a drums bus. Ditto for vocs guitars keys ect.

Amps suddenly stopped working in stereo but still work in bridged.
I've got 4 Accusonic/Show amps (2 x PSA-3900, 2 x PSA-31500), all four of them were working in all modes (stereo, bridged, parallel/mono). The following day I was testing them out and all of a sudden all four amps only work in bridged mode but not stereo mode or parallel/mono mode. Has anyone ever seen or heard of this before?
