Hi guys,

I am looking for a desk that is made for recording perposes (not just a computer desk) but I am not looking to spends thousands! Do you guys know of any places/manf. that have some decent stuff. I would like to be able to have my studio monitors where they need as well as my (2) 15"lCDs.

may i use a seagate 40gb ata 100 2mb cache for op and seagate serial ata 80gb 8mb cache for data in the asus p4pe (raid)?

I have a relatively new home/project studio. I currently own a Tascam 788 standalone recorder. It's been great and has really gotten me interested in recording. I'm now working with some outboard preamps, compressors, and have recently gotten a Tascam m-3500 24 channel board to go along with it.

Im curious as to how good analog tape can sound. i am currently on the look out for a analouge 16 track or 24 track for my studio.

can you guyz suggest some reliable brands,low noise etc & things a analog novice like my self should look out for when purchasing a second hand tape machine?

hi...i would like to buy new hard discs...i've heard western digital ata 100 7200 rpm 8 mb cache are good but are lit bit more expensive than seagate barracada 4 ata 100 7200 rpm which are good and for good price too...well what do you think guys?...actualy if the western digital are better maybe i'll go for it...
but i really want you to help me in this case...please...
