Hey everyone, this is my first time here and i hope I'm posting in the right section. If not feel free to move to where ever it should be, I understand how forums work.

I have a USB mic that came from my Rockband set (It woks VERY well its NOT the problem), and I have the Sterio Mix active on a Windows Vista machine. I need to record input from both at once in order to record a weekly talk show I want to do with a friend.

It's been a unusually diverse month. In the past few weeks I've provided PA for a good up-and-coming Christian pop/rock band from down NC way, a rapper, a motivational speaker, and a classic rock band. In addition to remote recordings for a blues/rock band, we had another first of recording Broadway style vocal numbers (solos and duets) with piano accompaniment.

Ok i don't have the best studio quality equipment but i just have something to hold me until christmas
i have a Behringer C1U with pop filter, headphones, stand
i also have a macbook pro laptop and windows vista hp laptop (btw)

Which DAW program would you recommend to me that will work great with the Behringer C1U. .

i currently use an Alesis multimix 16, but need more mic inputs for live recording - its got 8, but i want more. whats the best value unit i can get above the multimix that will give me 8+ mic ins? I'm finding it hard to find something/anything suitable for my fairly low end budget.

Hello! My name is Kurtis, and I'm new to the site. I've been recording for almost a year, and I just wanted to get people's feedback on something I've done recently. Unfortunately, the logic file got lost so I can no longer change anything (trust me, I'm not new at backing up files and all that jazz, this was a VERY rare and unfortunate case). This is my friend Mackenzie's song.

If a very short sound was to be produced by an ordinary speaker, would humans hear this? Could this be done so that the sound playing at regular intervals is detectable by a device but is not irritating for humans and pets? Does this depend on frequency and/or intensity and how?

Anybody have any wisdom on this to share?

Anyone using Stealthplug into a laptop with Amplitube for live use? The rest of my rack is fine, with a great power amp and a Carvin 4X12, so I thought I'd check out the idea of using Amplitube live. Reports are that latency is zero when it is set up correctly.

I'm doing a gig where i am recording 3 diffrent dj's do 45 minute set's live.
my question is when taking their output. which is better off to take the signal from.
The record out ( where i can not adjust the gain and the signal is pegged at 0dB the whole time)
