Most Useful Analog Equalizers
I'm shopping for an EQ with vibe. Can I get something that is close to everything? Tight bottom end, rich mids and silky highs or should I be investing in EQ's that are designed for a specific range? What is the best for mids?

Starting an Analog Studio with a budget
I'm looking for a professional that is experienced in Analog Recording to point me in
the right direction for a 16 channel mixer and 16 track tape machine.
My Budget is variable, I'd like to know a few price range options, I defiantly don't want to spend more that a few thousand.

Replacing analog desk - going digital - advice needed
hi folks,

I have a 36 channel Angela AMEK analog desk and need to upgrade to a digital solution.
My primary constraints are that this is a teaching facility and therefore need to facilitate both Pro Tools and Logic Studio.

Hello everyone,
I am posting the particulars of my recording system, which includes both analog and digital elements. My end goal is to have the ability to route my analog recording console’s direct outputs to my computer in order to have automated mixing capability. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Here is the breakdown of my current recording process:
Define Analog Recording
Man, have I been slightly off here. I mean, I have always thought when stating I love analog, I'm understood that its "using" nice outboard analog gear "in combination" with a DAW system = Hybrid also. To me it just doesn't mean recording to TAPE.

Mixing - Analogue vs. Digital
Hey guys,
Thanks for reading my thread.
My first thread on my first day in Recording.Org so if i screw something up then please do not shoot my dog.
I am curious, ppl keep going on about Analogue mixers, saying that the sound quality is not good and blah blah compared to digital mixers.
