Me: I'm running Logic Pro X, I've been using Garage band and I just upgraded. I have 2 issues out the gate that I cannot seem to get around. My Focusrite Scarlet 2i4 is reading my SM57 when it's plugged in but it's not outputting on Logic. I can see in my logic that it's picking up the signal and in the interface that it's picking up, but I cannot hear what's going in. The S, R, and the I are all clicked, The output is set to scarlet 24i and the input is too in the logic audio preferences.
Sorry if this is not the right place for this but I am having a bit of an issue trying to get the AT2035 mic to be picked up on Windows.
I just recently purchased some things on ebay, I got an Audio Technica at2035 and a focusrite scarlette solo. I plugged them into my computer, installed all neccesary drivers and the scarlett powers on fine and is fully recognized no problem. Now im not sure if the mic is even recieving power or not or not picking up audio, but in audactiy i get no sound, the cable im using is labeled as yongsheng professional ofc microphone cable. could i be i may have a faulty cord or not right one?
I bought an Audio technica at2035 and attempted to use it on my computer. I have a usb XRL cable and I set it as the default audio recording device on my computer. However, whenever I try to record my voice in Audacity nothing happens. I have tried a headset microphone and once I select that as my default audio device it record just fine so it isn't my computer. Could it be that my microphone is broken? I haven't dropped it and it is always safely in it's cushioned case whenever not in use. I am very new to this and so the solution could be quite obvious I simply haven't found it.
I am planning to buy AT2035 and Scarlett 2i2 to start my home studio. Scarlett 2i2 cost 149 USD on amazon and AT2035 cost 149 USD also. Then I came across to this amazon bundle deals
I just purchased a Audio-Technica AT2035

So what could be my problem
I have a NADY SMPS phantom to power the mic btw
Please help in any way
Hi ! I am newbie to recording equipments. I just bought At2035 and scarlett 2i2 , and I am not able to get them working.
I tried scarlett on Dynamic mic, and worked like a charm. But when I tried AT2035, i cant see any led signals. its not even lighting up as green.
1. I am supplying phantom power.
2. I am using xlr to xlr cable (not 1/4 one).
Thinking that mic could be defective, I sent it back for replacement. so they checked the mic and told me that mic is working fine.
I have also tried Powered Usb hub, no sucess.
Hello there. I am sort-of setting up a small Home-Studio in my Basement, and as looking for a good mic. I came across the "Audio Technica AT2035 Condenser Microphone"
I see that it has 2 switches (sorry, I am learning about this stuff as I go on here.) , a "-10 DB" and a "Low Cut" switch. Would it be possible to get an explanation of what each switch does?
ALSO: I have a SHURE SM57, what shock mount would you recommend that would fit well?
!!! THANK YOU in ADVANCE !!!
AT2035 Cardioid Condenser Microphone
I can't find the size anywhere on the net.
In a previous topic, someone mentioned that the AT2020 has only a 1/2inch. This mic seems to be the same thing, but with a pad and rolloff. I am guessing it has the same size diaphragm, but I don't know.
Is having the roll-off and pad worth an additional $50?
