Audigy

Just got some vocal tracks in. Theyve been recorded with SB Audigy, an old Mackie mini mixer and a RODE NT1. The takes themselves are good as it gets but there's a problem: sibilants sound harsh. Theyre like mp3 gone bad. Is the Audigy the most likely culprit? Any suggestions on curing this evil? I have only good things to say about the Mackie and NT1.

need help with Audigy 4

Hello..trying to buy Audigy 4 for my hubby to boost up the quality of his voicework, to supplement our income.
Has anyone used this?
Where ever I look, they are very vague about what is included. Of course we need the sound card with the inputs and the software.
If anyone can offer insight, I would appreciate it.

Audiophile 2496 or Creative Audigy 2 Platinum Pro(External)

I have these two choices of buying Audiophile 2496 or Creative Audigy 2 Platinum Pro(External)...but i dont know which one would be better for recording and making music on my computer. i live in canada, and the price of audiophile is $125, and the price for the creative one is $199 or so. but u get soo much stuff with the creative one(external unit, card and remote control).

Audigy 2 ZS PCMCIA and monitor input w/ Acid 5

Hi All, Got a weird question here; The Audigy allows EAX FX (in this case reverb on the line in) but it automatically mutes the line in when I open the record dialog in Acid Pro 5. This necessitates opening the mixer, muting and then unmuting the line in every time I record a track so I can monitor input wet- pain in the butt.
