What do you guys think of the Tascam FW-1082

Hey I'm building a home studio in my basement. Even though a lot of people say thats not a good place to work, my basement really fits the needs of a studio. I'm focusing on using software but needed an audio-interface. The 1082 looks pretty good because it also has mixers and other attributes that other interfaces don't have.

what set up do I need for recording? no booth...open space.

I have decided that building a vocal booth in my studio room.
is a waste of money and time.

I live in the basement of my parents house.
nice lil room connected to my bedroom.
two doors...one for living/bedroom kitchen area and one for washroom.
It's pretty quite in my room...quiet enough to record rap/hip hop
lyrics with head phones/microphone.

problem with live vocal levels

OK, here is my situation...I am running sound at a 500-600 capacity club in my area and this is my first experience in actually building and installing a setup in a venue. I have worked and assisted before in much larger venues with their house systems but never have I been solely responsible for setting up, installing, purchasing, maintaining, and running the whole thing.
