I am trying to cause a phase flip within a mic cable, i know it can be done I just dont know how to do it. if you can give me any ideas. or know of any alternatives (like a literal plugin , like the earthworks kick pad, that can flip phase as an incoming signal)

Who can tell me if there are some diference or if it better to use or not to use snake cable from mogami or canare instead the regular full cables? i mean, in the studio conections...any moderator? Remy?

I'm looking at the MXL V69 Mogami as a vocal mic (seems to match my voice). I like the fact that it's a tube mic with case, shock mount, etc for $300.

Does anyone have any experiance with this mic?

I would like to buy a very good (electric) guitar cable, a "preamp to soundcard" cable, and two MIDI module mono cables (from the module to the soundcard, or module-->mixer-->soundcard).
Since I really don't know if there are differences among them, I am asking for your help :)

just a silly question about the difference and use between balanced and unbalanced cables.

since balanced cables reject noise, why not everything be connected using balanced cables instead of unbalanced ones?

We need twelve channels of xlr-xlr, for the microphones into the mixer, and we have five pairs of headphones that need to connect to our MOTU 192HD.

heyya I'm just starting out, but how does a midi usb cable work?

i mean, all the voices transmitted from the keyboard to the computer (software sequencer, eg. sonar) thru the usb?

so the usb end goes into the usb port whereas the other split end goes into the keyboard out 2/R?

Hello all, another Newbie here.

Here is the deal, I have slowly and steadily realized after reading for many hours here that my purchase of the Behringer 2222FX may not have been a wise choice. However, that is what we have and we will make a go of it until we can afford better.

i need about 9 more at least 20' mic cables but dont have much of a budget... i was wondering if you know of any studio XLR male to female mic cables for cheap?
