I have a EMU0404. I have Cool Edit Pro ver 2 installed. I can play sounds through the Cool Edit and via the computer. However, I can not record using the above. Cool edit does not Hear my inputs. (MIc, Playback, CD etc..)
I use Cool Edit at another studio and have no problems with it. This is a new install and..WOW!

I am an amatuer acoustic guitarist who uses cool edit pro to support my practice/work.

I've been trying to open mp3's lately but I get all this converting information.. and when I try to convert, I get static sound. I've seen people open mp3's easily on cool edit pro. Why am I seeing this?

Ive been using Sonar 2XL and keeps locking up.. so I decided to try Cool Edit Pro.. Ive got it up and running, but I cannot for the life of me send Midi commands to my Korg M1 From my Casio WK-3000 thru Cool Edit pro... My Midi setup works Great with Sonar . Any Ideas would be quite Helpfull. .TY Epilespaul

We have just upgraded our two sound card on the pcs in both radio studios at our college (m audio delt h/Ws) .

Now the studio running an earlier version of cool edit is fine. The other running version 2.00 now has an annoying bleep which is recorded every 30secs on the timeline and track.

Hi i wanted to know if anyone had any tips on vocal recording with cool edit.. I Have a lowend Pro mic, an art tube preamp and a standard computer sound card. The problem is i cant get my vocals to sound right. They always sound a little tin canish? are there any effects i can use to make my recordings sound more natural?
