I've downloaded and loaded up amny good midi drum sounds and want to trigger using my midi MPB 16 controller... Akai with pads.. So I can play live to record the basic drums I want before editing midi style. I'm new to Cubase 4 but getting better every day... Midi isn't my strength so need some help

Hello, I am hoping someone could please help me, I want to change the annoying metronome sound in Cubase sx3 .

I'm using Cubase SX 3, and when I open my VST instruments panel, for example, I'll have Tone2 Firebird open, and RCGAudio's Z3TA open, and I'll have a certain synth selected which I'll be using for a midi track. When ever I stop the track from playing back, and playback from the beginning, the VSTi automatically resets the preset it was using to the default preset.

I'm trying to record my mic'd guitar in Cubase LE 4 using the Firepod as my audio interface, but I can't get it to work. I went in and activated the PreSonus ASIO Driver, then set up an input bus (stereo, ln1/ln2 left for the left channel, ln1/ln2 right for the right channel), then assigned those inputs to the audio track.

I'm new to this forum and thought it would be a good place to start asking questions.

I recently purchased a Tascam US-144 with Cubase LE 4 and have been doing home recordings of my band for demo purposes. I'm having a couple problems:

where do we begin? why should one prefer one over the other? basic, simple, differences for a beginner to consider...

I am running Cubase le4 on a 64bit Vista computer. It will run for about 20 mins and then it crashes. This is repeatable time and time again. Any ideas?

how do you make it so that a microphone records what's going in but doesn't transmit anything through the speakers WHILE it's recording. I'm using Cubase SX if it matters. Cheers

I have a Tascam-US 144, Triton extreme, and running Cubase le.

I have no problem getting MIDI from triton to play/record on Cubase or getting VST instruments to work. But I do have some questions.

I have Firewire to the to 2408 from PC.
