Greetings. I have been happily running my p4/1.8 with a 1010Delta/RME combo. It recently did 85gb of files from my old Fostex D160 without a peep. Some of that material has been mixed and no problems. When I transferred 8 analog trks today, one trk, the bass was wrecked. There was a message in notepad saying something to the effect that 'your base is ours'.

Well today I bought my Cubase SX... Can't install
it yet since my computor parts will arrive after X-mas. But I have a question about this VST system-link on SX.
Is there anybody out there using it?
Do you need to "monitor" the "slave" computor
or can it all be done from your main computor?

I've been trying to find some info out about the sx for mac os x.Anybody having problems with like with some of the other Cubase software?
I have been using 5.1 with no problems other than when I changed from pc to mac I went into temporary memory loss.(mine)
Any feedback would be appreciated.

I emailed Opus to find out why the Cubase SX update won't run after the XP tweaks. Here's the response:

I just posted this on the forum at cubase.net, but thought I'd run it up the flagpole here as well, just in case (this song was just about ready to send out to the talent for review too, btw... Grrrr. :mad: ):

Steinberg has just released version 1.05 of Cubase SX, but it looks like a pretty minor upgrade to me...(but then again, I was not the one writing code to remove bugs!) :)

I want to enter Prtools world for my Audio witch i think that gonna give me some advantages!but i have certain doubts...
First i want to use Pro Tools LE and (cubasesx or logic)inside the same computer(PC)! then i want to sync the programs...This way i can have logic reading my midi and Pro Tools recording to audio!

I just bought Cakewalk's " LOOPS " Drum Sets. It's a WAV file format. Before I open it ( and can't return it ), Will it work with Cubase SX ?

posted earlier. .must try to solve the problem.

i cant get Cubase to recognise the reason devices so that i can select them in the midi output window on each midi channel.

i've tried a lot of settings and configurations, but nothing seems to work. am i overlooking something.
