I used to use a Yamaha audiogram3 as an interface to record audio from my Yamaha PSR-175 keyboard and a microphone which I can no longer remember the make of, into Cubase Ai4. This worked fine and was great for recording guitar etc...

Hey guys, I'm stuck and would very much appreciate some help.

I have a:

Yamaha PSR 350 keyboard
Yamaha UX16 MIDI/USB cable (connects keyboard to computer)
Cubase 5

I am pulling my hair out on this one: I desire to monitor a track in Cubase directly, not via my fireface 800 & Totalmix so that I can record with plugins if desired.

Ok, so I just recorded a bunch of tracks in Cubase on my bass guitar. However, I'm an idiot and had all the tracks as stereo even though bass is a mono instrument. Also, on my M-audio USB fastrack which I'm using to record, I had it set on stereo. When I recorded and played it back the sound would only come out of one earphone and the other one would just play constant white noise/static.
