Advice on DAW for digital piano/sound module combination.

I'm not sure what section this should go in so I'm posting here.

I have a Roland RD700SX digital piano and a Ketron SD1000 sound module.I need to have software and the hardware to run it.I want to connect them up together via USB.At the moment the piano and module are connected by Midi cable from Piano Out to Midi In (module),with dual RCA's L-R to Tascam digital recorder.

Observations of an Old Schooler in the Digital Age

So I was tweaking tracks today, eventually I got around to the kick, and I liked it just fine, it was very well recorded so I didn't need to do much... but I thought about a trick I used to use back in the days of 12 ft consoles and 2 ton tape decks - and I'm betting that Chris, Kurt, Boswell, Boulder, Hawk, and other fellow travelers of that bygone age will remember this one..

Rig for Live Recording to Digital / Computer

Hello,

I am primarily a musician, however I have been running a "Rock Band" after school program which is a lot of fun. I have a lot of experience with Garageband and I know this doesn't get much credit as a program, but I did a lot of recording on it with my friend in the past and I had results I was happy to listen to and continue to enjoy listening to.

Question about thickening digital guitars

So I am a major VST nerd and I really enjoy the convenience of keeping most things in ITB. I don't have anything but an LA-610 for outboard other than a Tascam DM-4800 which is as warm as. .well, it's not warm. So, I am totally reworking my monitoring end of my studio and adding some OTB analog summing. I am also, after that, planning on beefing up the front end with some more nice pres.

Best Digital Distributor

I've tried most of the top distributors and have chosen to go with UGF Digital permanently. They are an actual label and can get you in 800 stores with free marketing and advertisement. From what I gather they use their own network that already trumps Tunecore and CD Baby, plus they use the network of Sony Music (Sony/The Orchard). That means a lot more to me than receiving 100% from tunecore.
