Digitech Live Pro - anyone used one live?

I've got to source one of these for a show in pre-production, and getting one is easy, but I just wondered if there was anything better. Needs are modest - MIDI in from MDs piano, clean and harmony outputs, and good female sounds. The demos I have found suggest it will do the trick, but there could be something better. Rack mounting is preferable.

Digitech Whammy Pedal won't power on

Hey i just tried to use my 2 yr old whammy pedal which i purchased new, and i see no lights, and it will not transmit sound. This pedal only has a couple hours on it, and has been kept in my house, near all my other pedals which work. The only unusual thing is i left it down at my studio for a couple weeks along w/ a couple stomp boxes.

Recording with new digitech GSP1101

I currently have a POD XT Live that I use at home to record guitar and bass with into my Pro Tools 002 Rack and get great results however I have just bought a Line 6 LD150 bass amp to plug my ibanez bass into so I can learn to play some bass and can have a jam in my studio with my mate who used to play bass in the band i was in several moons ago.

Digitech Jamman (or RC-20, boomerang, etc) Looper

I'm sure many of you fine guitarists have used the Jamman or other looping pedal. I'm even confident that several of you have tips and tricks that we need to hear about! Here's my specific question - how the heck do you keep a tempo live? I mean, even if the drummer and vocals can hear your guitar, traditionally, they don't follow you, the guitar follows the rythm or voice.
