Hello all.
I want to record my drums using a trigger & mic combo. I want to trigger the drums & mic the cymbals. How do I get all these multiple inputs into my computer to record simultaneously? What software & devices will I need to record & edit my drums with?

I'm building a home studio from scratch. I'll be running it on a dedicated windows XP or Vista machine, whichever OS is optimal. Right now 3.0ghz pentium 4 with 2 gigs of ram. Looking to upgrade to 3-4 gigs of ram soon.

Hey I'm new to recording and i was just wondering exactly what i needed to start recording my own stuff at home. I write a lot of music and i play various instruments Guitar/bass guitar/piano/drums/saxophone/trumpet etc; Music is basically what i love to do ;my passion. I'm fairly young and i want to start myself off into music as career if possible

I just picked up a Matchless Clubman Reverb w/matching 2x12 and an '06 CS-336. The Matchless sounds amazing, such rich harmonic blooms and so musical at every volume. The 336 matches is quite nicely too. I think the amp will record very well; I can't wait to give it a go and lay down some tracks.
