Home Recording

I just got all my equipment set up (see my gear profile). I am looking at the Pro Tools screen and have no idea what to do or how to get any sound at all coming from the mic, the guitar or the midi keyboard. Please point me in a direction of where I can start - even just to make a simple guitar and vocal recording. Nothing ever comes with instructions anymore. Thanks.

Home Recording an Album

So I ‘m recording an 8 song rock album. I want to record electric guitars, acoustic guitars, and vocals home and maybe also piano at my aunt’s house if I can manage the recording and bass if I can rent or get someone to lend me a decent one. I will record the drums and do the final mix at a proper studio or outsource the mix somehow.

Getting Started with Home Recording

Hey guys, I have been planning of starting a one man band sort of project (all done virtually) and i need help in finding a cheap but good software that might aid me in doing so. I play guitar, so i could get a cable and somehow play through the cpu and record like that but i have no idea where to start and it seems confusing to me and all right now.

Home recording setup for a 6 people band?

We've started a band where we have about 3 female vocalists, 3 male vocalists, and some of us will be playing guitar and/or keyboard at times instead of singing. When we have a song ready we'd want to record it, so question is what equipment would be suitable for our setup? We are PC users (not MAC). Would we need a mic for each vocalist?
