Home studio idea...

I've always recorded my riffs, my ideas, EVERYTHING. And Its been great just have an okay computer, an okay mic that came with my computer, and an okay sound card. But I want to do a little upgrade. Setting up a home studio

I am interested in expanding my home studio. Right now I am using a dell isperion 1100 notebook that is a little over a year old. I am recording on to adobe auditon 1.5 using a generic computer mic. This has worked for my acoustic recordings, but now I am in a reggae band and want to expand the sound and the load of insterments I can record at a time.
