I was reminiscing today. Back in 1988 or 89 my brother in law who’s a handyman at all sorts welded this together for me.
Note my Alesis Quadraverb and Yamaha TX81z mounted as well. Keyboards are a Roland Jupiter 6 and a Roland D20. I think there’s a delay pedal on the Jupiter 6, I did use one though at one point.
Been wondering whats the best way to plug everything:
Hi all, i just picked up a crappy bottom of the line midi keyboard to suit my broke ass recording needs and obviously the keyboard has no velocity control, when you hit a key, no matter how hard, it comes out the same volume, when recording in pro tools, is there a way to semi mimic the velocity of a piano or midi effect? i know pro tools has a random velocity setting but if anyone has any advice on using a midi keyboard with out velocity successfully i would really appreciate the feedback.
I'm looking for the amp mentioned in the title.
One person suggested a Roland kc110.
Any other suggestions? Comments on the Roland?
After getting in touch with yamaha chat support about my DGX-650 electric piano, which is USB-MIDI connection and unable to connect to an interface, they tell me my keyboard is made to be compatible to my MAC, so there is no driver downloadable for my specific model.
I am also using the logic program, and I now my computer comes pretty set on removing latency, but I do still get it. I am using logic Pro X.
I have an Apple keyboard with numeric pad (see image below) and I'm searching for a Studio One Pro 3 silicone editor overlay to suit.
It seems everywhere I look on the web there seems to be the Studio One overlay for Macbook and Imac, but not for this apple keyboard which I'm sure is the most popular in the range. The seems to be an abundance of overlays to suit just about every other DAW program on the planet for this keyboard, but nothing for SO3.
I am beginner in home recording. I've recently bought a new audio interface, the Tascam US-122MKII, to record audio, guitar and MIDI tracks. I've successfully recorded all but the latter. For some reason I can't get any signal from my keyboard in my recording software. I've connected correctly the MIDI cables also. I know that MIDI IN from my audio interface goes to MIDI OUT on my keyboard and vice-versa.
