KRK Stands

Hey so I just got a set of KRK Rokits. The stands it came with were missing all the screws. I've contacted them about getting the package of screws sent, but it's been 3 weeks and I'm loosing my mind having these speakers on my desk. Does anyone know the exact dimensions of the screws? I'm just going to order them on Amazon, I just need to know what size screws to buy. The screws I need are pictured below.

Brand new KRK Rokits crackling in playback, Logic Pro X

Hi, I tried googling this, but every answer I'm reading is over my head. Buffer Size is something people advise changing. But for reference, I don't know what a buffer is nor do I know how to find my buffer settings. Someone else said to watch your CPU/HD meter, and I again don't know what those are, nor how to change them. Any help would be great, feel free to assume I don't know anything about the technical sides of recording.

KRK speakers make weird "chirping / beeping sound" during playback and recording.

Speakers make weird chirp sound every so often when playing back or monitoring through interface. If I go through the built-in input the speakers work fine. Could it be the interface? Thanks

KRK Rokit Loud Buzzing Help

Hi,

I have a pair of KRK Rokit RP5 G2 monitors but on one of them when you only turn on the power it makes a horrible loud buzzing sound:

I have tried the woofer from a working unit into it and it does the same problem so it has to be an issue with the actual unit. I have opened it up and took photos.

KRK Rokit 6 static/whistling

Hey guys,

I'm new here so apologies if I could have posted this in a better section :)

Today I purchased some 2nd hand Rokit 6's. They sound amazing when hooked up to my Roland MC505 but when I add a 1/4 > 3.5mm adaptor so I can plug them into my PC...I get this nasty whistling noise when plugged in. It sounds like a slight breeze is going through the speakers. I can't hear the noise when music is playing from the PC.

I tried turning off router and putting the Rokit's on their own power adapter/extension - no luck.

KRK Rokit, one speaker broke, repair, buy new pair or a single?

Hi Folks,

Any advice would be much appreciated.
Have had a pair of KRK rp5 (gen 2) for some years and been very happy with them
One recently failed (bass speaker not working). I am trying to decide whether to send for repair (out of warranty) which will cost £30 carriage there and back, £20 initial fee discounted from repair cost when done or the following options

1) buy a single speaker of same model and generation (maybe £115)

2) buy a pair of the next generation (£230 or so)

Event Opal vs adding KRK Rockit 10-3

Hi gang,

After the discussions I have been involved in, it occurred to me to ask this question. It's all very well and good to get myself the Dangerous Monitor ST, but, what about my existing speakers. As I mentioned in another thread, I do have 10 year old Mackie Hr824s. These were a step up from NS-10m Yamaha's and a pair of Alesis monitor ones running off some pre amp I can't even remember anymore. And they have served me overall, well.
