Hi,
I am looking for good price and good quality studio monitors for mixing, recording, composing.
I found kind of interedting and cheap stuff.
So, it's JBL LSR305 and KRK Rokit 5 G3.
I heard a lot of good words about KRK monitors, but I was kind of disappointed. The sound quality was much better on JBL monitors.

Could anyone give me any advice on doing this before I go spend money on them?

I would like to know how to connect the monitors to the Zoom r16?

Was highly considering these powered monitors for my reference monitors in my home studio. I've read plenty of good reviews of how they're extremely accurate. Not to mention, a good price for the poor people. Anyone have any experience with these G5 or G6's? I'm assuming the G6's are more powerful and produce less distortion. Let me know what you think. I have a pair of Rokit 8's. But I would love to hear your opinions of these Monitors?

Yesterday I had the pleasure of being at the Gear You Really Want store in my area when the rep for KRK was making a visit. He had a pair of the Rokit10-3's to demo, and since I was down arranging for a mastering session for the new Franco And The Stingers song thats going on a compilation record for the Cascade Blues Association, I got to hear my new mix on these speaks.

hey, I'm having some trouble. i installed studio one, drivers, etc onto my computer, plugged my monitors into my firestudio project, restarted my comp, plugged the firestudio in, and I'm not getting any sound. I'm trying to hear itunes or youtube and nothing. i have gone into sound preferences to make sure the firestudio was the selected source.

Each speaker plays static. Even when no audio input cables are plugged in. I'm a noob with audio settings with my new KRK Rokit 5 G2's and i don't want to turn a bunch of knobs I know very little about.

What's your favorite KRK Systems studio monitors?

Hello, I am about to purchase a complete studio monitoring system consisting of a pair of KRK RP6 G2 or RP8 G2 studio monitors with the KRK 10S subwoofer. The question at hand is: should I go with the RP6 or RP8 pair? What are the advantages of each in this setup? Any comments on 6" vs. 8" monitors, in general? And their use with a subwoofer system, in general?
