M-Audio Avid or Blue Yeti?
I'm needing a new microphone since my old one has broke.
I've been looking at these two that are at my local stores on sale.
I do already have programs to edit the audio and fix anything (although I'm learning) (program is adobe audition)
M-audio mic:
PRICE: $80 (usually $100, so sale is $20 off)

Pro Tools or other software to use with M-Audio and my guitar
I recently picked up a M-Audio Mobile USB Pre device from a local individual. It came with a driver disk but I had to download the latest drive from their website to work with Windows 7. Now my question is, what software (free preferably) can I use to play my guitar and record?
Recording bass with M-Audio Fast Track Pro
Hey everbody,
I recently bought a Fast Track Pro USB audio interface thinking that I would be able to get something cool from it by directly plugin my bass, then use Guitar Rig 5 to simulate an amp. It works, but the thing is that sounds like crap ! Am I doin something wrong ? Is there anything that is missing to my setup ? Im runnin on a brand new Macbook Pro with Ableton Live 8.

M-Audio Fast Track Pro Bass Recording
Hi all,
here's my question ; - How can I can get a warm sound recording trough my Fast Track ?
I tought that plugin my bass directly into the audio interface, then moduling the sound with Guitar Rig 5 would be all right, but it sounds like sh*t ! Should I buy a mic to record with my bass amp ? I just don't know what to do !

m-audio bx5a vs. bx5 d2
I am currently looking at studio monitors because I am just going to start recording. I don't have a very large budget, but at the same time, I want quality sound. I listened to a pair of m-audio bx5a's and thought they sounded good for the price. I was looking into them on GC's website and found the m-audio bx5 d2's.

m-audio fast track mkII high-pitched noise
Hi to everyone!
I'm getting a bit annoyed by the constant presence of a low high-piched noise every time I plug an instrument to my M-audio fast track mkII. every time I playback audio or use Sonar 8.3.1 to record, I hear this noise which would be bearable if only it DIDN'T get INTO the recordings!

M-Audio Fast Track, acoustic guitar direct in, and Garageband
Tips/Tricks? I have a Martin with a fishman pickup. Maybe if I could just start there? What are some ideal pick up settings for recording? On the M-Audio I have the gain up to about 9 o clock. Anything below that and the sound is just too thin. But the downside is that I clip when I go to pluck the lower strings with any aggression at all.
Tips for newbie ...M-Audio Fast Track mkii plus Fishman guitar pickup
So I recently purchased the M Audio Fast Track (mkii) to do some home recordings of my acoustic guitar. I'm plugging directly in to the interface and using Garageband to record. I've done a few test recordings which sound semi-decent but everything is just a little thin and chords don't sustain very well. CAn I adjust something through the guitar pick up to get ideal sound?
