Test report PreSonus Eris E8.
Just purchased them, and I’m running them in right now.
What can be said in this stage? Well, they sound powerful, and slightly American, ie.: a bit aggressive sometimes.

I am planning to buy a low cost monitor for my homestudio mixing. Most offen i work with flute tracks. Do you prefer below monitor for my purpose ?

I have a pair of M-Audio BX5s, I powered them on last Sunday and one of them did not respond. I have tried different sockets, different wires & also tried replacing the fuse that comes with the monitors as a spare to no avail.
I have messaged M-Audios support page but as usual have not received a reply and today is day 5 since the email...

I have a pair of KRK Rokit RP5 G2 monitors but on one of them when you only turn on the power it makes a horrible loud buzzing sound:

I am having some issues with some studio monitors and have been lying around and I am trying to use them again.

One of them creates no sound at all, the front light still illuminates though.
The other appears to only play sound from the tweeter and not the sub.

I have tried different inputs and different input devices with the same result.

I recently aquired two Mission speakers or monitors made in England. Not sure what they are. How do I check if these are monitors or regular speakers? Having trouble loading pics. Thanks.

I drank a coffee today and cannot sleep. Thus, I'll spend some time here while it's fresh in my mind.

The ATC SCM25A's were oriented as ATC suggests, with the woofers to the outside. The midrange dispersion is so massive it works this way. Plus to have them the opposite way, would have ports firing towards each other bc of the design.

I can only use the living room in my new apartment. I need advice where to place my desk and monitors. The 3D rendering is of the apartment but the furnishings aren't mine. Think of the living room empty. I haven't moved in yet.
