I have Rokit 8 KRK monitors and they are headed for the trash. Don't be fooled by the cute yellow cones and the lighted KRK logo. It is what's inside that counts. poor sound and technical/electronics issues.

I wonder what these are like? Anyone hear them?

TIME FOR A REALITY CHECK

I have been using pro audio gear for over 25 years. I made a big mistake. Based on in store listening and recommendations, I bought KRK Rokit 8 monitors. Based on daily use, I believe that these are very poor for mixing audio (range / poor sound quality). I should have done more homework There are many, many great options out there in the same price range.

Ok here we go.. I've had this issue for awhile now and I'm finally getting super annoyed with it.

So I've had a PreSonus Firestudio Project since 2008. It just died on me in December. I bought a used one last week. ONLY since the replacement does my cell phone cause little bits of noise in my monitors when sending or receiving texts. Can anyone explain this to me?

Hey everyone, it's been a minute.
Looking to get some suggestions from you guys for a pair of monitors that are known to be complimentary to Yamaha NS10's. Looking known monitors that that expose flaws in the mix that NS10's don't, hence "complimentary".
I already use Mixcubes in conjunction with the NS10's.
Budget limit of $3000.00

This is an OTB mix, ( 2 DAW workflow) but instead of using my go-to Monitor One's, this time I used Tannoy Reveals 6.0 (passives) as reference NF's, to test them out and see how they translate to other systems. (Power Amp is a Hafler Trans-Nova 1500).

I am about to purchase ADAM Audio F7, but would like to hear some opinions from people who have it, or who compared it with other monitors, A7X and/or Alesis M1 Active mkII.
What are your thoughts after listening to these ADAMs?
