60 cycle humm but only one power connection, I'm stumped
Hi everyone,
I'm not an audio engineer or even sure what one is but I have a problem with a humm. It happens when ever I have some audio device connected to the wall outlet. Let me explain further and see if one of you gurus sees how to fix it or at least track down the problem:
separate phantom power supply
Hi. I'm new to recording and had a few basic questions. At least... I imagine they're basic.
1. I have a mic that requires phantom power - does anyone have any suggestions on a simple, good "clean" phantom power unit? Are there some features I should look for aside from just power?

Diminishing power in my consumer electronics
Hey all, I've notice recently that at some point within the first year of use, my and even my friends, consumer electronnics power amps/speakers seem to fade or settled down a bit. Whether it so my phone, my home theater, and recently my iPad, it seems to me that it takes a couple of extra notches on the volume dial, to get bit to the comfortable level I was used to initially.
Phantom power lost Mackie onyx 4080
Mackie Onyx 4080 made a pop sound and all phantom power was lost. Includes the 12 v. to the console lights. Any thoughts on where to look? Is there a fuse for the DC? I am searching around and so far cannot find a clue to what happened. Maybe we lost a transformer? The mixer functions fine otherwise.

Help me pick out a power conditioner please
I'm in the market for some power conditioning rack units, maybe two of them: one for my guitar rig and one for my computer/recording rig. As it is now I have a mess of a power situation here, I'm using a lot of power strips and expansions and it's all going to the same outlet, guitar rig, recording rig, and computer.

Neve 33609 power Q
I have an original 33609/C on the way. It's coming from the UK to me (USA). Most likely, the voltage selector switch will be at 220 (or 240?); I will set that to 120.
The question I have is in regards to the fuses - the main fuse and the secondary. Do I need to change either of those?
Thanks in advance.

PreSonus Firestudio Project - Needs power supply schematic
Asking on behalf of a fellow member on another electronics repair forum. He seems to have a bad a resistor that is some type of 1/4 resistor that is right beside the bridge rectifier. Obviously, these new types of schematics are tough to come by... However, the year of the device is 2007 and all that is really needed is the value of this resistor.
