I've seen a couple of posts on this forum from people who like the four channel Sytek mic preamp, but not much else about it anywhere else. The couple of people that did post short messages about it have not responded to my efforts to get more info on them - so I'll ask the larger group.

Hi does anyone know a good repair person who look over and rack 2xCalrec PQ1061s, a Neve 33314a and a Calrec C1204. I would really appreciate any information as I have some other gear such as a Cadac board and some Glensound pres that will also need work.

We are doing a small group -bluesy, with piano,standup and guitar(archtop). The problem has been trying to do justice to our singer. She is basically an alto, and still has a sweet top to go with a nice chest tone,but has very big dynamics. She's not a belter, but can get really loud when the spirit moves her.

I just got a studio projects vtb-1 and i am wondering what would be the best way to connect it to the Q10
should i run through the inserts or the inputs on the front of the interface?
is anyone else using these two in conjunction with each other?

Has anyone tested it or used it? It seems pretty good for the price, but I'd like you to give some input; also, could you put it against some other 2 channel preamps in that price range (Joemeek, Envoice Mindprint, etc..)?

I need some pros and cons. Also, anybody know what may have preceded these units at Demeter?

A chap has got one and says it's 4 -5 yrs old and all he can remember is it's got BP in the model number.
