Will a Brick improve my Firepod?
I am currently pretty happy with the results I am getting when recording my jazz guitar. I currently mic my Archtop (seven string, big body type) with a RODE NTK and record the direct signal from my guitar through an Avalon U5. I then re-amp with a radial X-amp through a Polytone and mic this up. My interface is a Firepod going into Logic.

Daisy-chaining Firepods >> Topaz 32-8 >> ?
So I got a Soundtracs Topaz 32-8 this summer. I'm daisy-chaining 2 Firepods together so I have 16 simultaneous channels in/out.
My plan is to be able to record up to 16 live tracks, and also mix into 16 'group' to the console.
So my question is how the **** do I finish after that?
I have a two track Otari 1/4" mastering recorder as well.

Adjusting/standardizing Trim levels on Firepod
We have 3 PreSonus Firepods daisy chained together that we are using to record birds in a specially designed room for our biological research. Currently for our setup we have XLR condenser microphones that require 48V phantom power plugged into the front of the firepods and are recording 44.1 @ 24bits.

expanding FirePod channels using MacBook Pro
hey guys,
i am looking at a cheap way of expanding channels on my existing Mac Book Pro / PreSonus FirePOD set up.
I am aware that i can buy another PreSonus FirePod and chain them together however... i am looking to add a cheaper alternative... and additional 4-8 Channels (12 -16 total) would do me just fine... just wondering if anyone has a similar setup?

Firepods(fp10) + M-box Is it possible?
I run 2 PreSonus fp10's with Cubase 4 and I recently purchased an M-box so I can start using Pro Tools. I am not necessarily trying to increase i/o but I would like to be able to use the firepods for tracking in Pro Tools.

to a Yamaha aw1600 for on location recording of jazz, choir, pop, rock
Since there have been a lot of questions on whether a beginner should buy the one or the other, here's my experience.
