Right now I have an M Audio Delta 1010 and a few microphones. The problem for me now is that I had to sell my Mackie cfx16 when i moved back to the states from Costa Rica (had brought things down on multiple trips but had only one trip back to bring things back).

I have 2 firepods, hooked up to my AMD 5600+ x2 64bit computer (running windows xp pro). For some reason, the firepods don't seem to stay connected to my computer. they can lose connectivity over night, or they can work fine up until i go to use them. It seems to be pretty random as to when they lose it. Any suggestions? thanks

Hi, i've been working for some time now with my PreSonus firepod, but a few days ago I changed my PC's motherboard and firewire port and now it's not detecting my firepod, I tried with another computer and it didn't work either, tried with another cable and ac adapter and nothing happened, any ideas please!

hi guys new here, iv been recording with a Mbox2 for the last year now and any time i want to record something with more than 2 tracks, such as drums, i have to use a mixer, but i still have 2 tracks then on pro tools and i want to be able to have full control over all the tracks like kick snare toms over heads and so on.

When i plugin an instrument in input 1 i can record the sound.

But when i plug it into 2-8 I get no sound.

Help.

I'm new to this forum.

My Firepod has a problem with my acoustic/electric guitar.

Whenever it records there is a fat hum.

The hum is really thick when using Adobe Audition.

My mixer is set and the clipping knobs are in place but I still hear that hum.

What is wrong?

If anyone has had experience with either interface, are the M-Audio preamps significantly better than the Firepod?

Which one and why? And are they both compatible with a mac?

What is the best software to use when using a firepod to record with? Also price? and also on a mac and pc?

I'm about to buy a mac laptop.

Is it possible to use a PreSonus firepod as the main audio interface with Pro Tools software? I realize I won't get the onbaord DSP (TDM) that Pro Tools hardware would provide, but could I still use the firepod as my main audio IO and use only RTAS plugins?
