i have my motif es connected tru Mboxpro2 midi in and out but i dont know why when i record 4 midi tracks on Protools, the motif cant send back data to the 3 midi tracks i recorded? it only sends 1 channel and i tried to go to song or pattern mode to hear back all 4 channels of the motif it didnt work.

Today I got a weird error when trying to bounce a mix ive been doing..

Any ideas ?
Computer is a stable PC with 2 gig of ram blah blah, no problems before today.

I tired restarting and rebouncing to no avail...

I bought a rossetta 800 an used to own a digi 002. I still want to keep using pro tools whats my best way to go?

I run PT LE and am looking at buying some instrument sample files over the net.

As I have always recorded mainly acoustic instrumet, and have no experience to speak of with samples, could anyone give me a little info on using these .wav and acid samples, particularly with PT LE.

Any help would be very much appreciated. 8-)

if i get the mbox pro tools and want to upgrade to the 003 stuff it will work right? it comes with the exact same copy of pro tools correct? i just want to get the ball rolling/ any help to this question would be awesome!

I'm thinking about getting one of the newest macbook pros the specs being:
- 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
- 4GB 667 DDR2 - 2x2GB SO-DIMMs
- 160GB Serial ATA Drive @ 7200 rpm
and i would like to get Pro Tools LE 7.3
and the 003 rack.
any info you guys could throw my way or tips or suggestions would be helpful i am very new to recording.

I know its been discussed a million times, but most of the talks I've seen are pre-2003. Has anything changed in this argument?

The Digidesign site doesn't give a definitive answer on whether Pro Tools LE 7.3 (the version that comes with Mbox 2s now) works with 2007 macs, so just wondering if anyone has that combination and if there's any trouble?

Well i'm starting the long process with A-Bing my current Nuendo system with a Digi002 Pro Tools LE system and I run across something that is rather interesting. In Nuendo when I want to do a punch in I just set the point where I want it to occur and then hit the button to initialize the punch point and when I hit play I can hear the music in my headphones AND my guitar playing over it.
