What do you guys think about Nuendo and Protools. I currently work with Pro Tools 6.1 and looking to get into a Euphonix Sytem 5. It now interfaces directly with Nuendo. Is it worth the switch? What are the differences that I'll notice?

I just bought a G4, digi 001 and Pro Tools 6.0 (I'm a neophyte). I can hear analog but I can't hear the metronome or midi--please help. I also would like to know how to integrate Pro Tools with other software (specifically Amplitube and Absynth). Thanks, Tim

Our studio has just been given it's first chance to mix a 5.1 surround for a concert DVD. We run Pro Tools. Any advise, suggestions, tips, tricks or things we should know?

I use Reason and just installed an update of Pro Tools. Do you find that rewiring produces a better sound? Is Pro Tools's dithering better than Reason's downsampling?

Anybody know of any conflicts with using Pro Tools 6.2.2 LE software with the MOTU 828mkII interface?

Hi, first time poster here, but Avid reader. Quick question. I'm starting to put together a little system to do some live recordings. I currently have an iBook G4 and am planning on doing something like this:

Pro Tools M-Box
Soundcraft E-8 mixer/Pre's
External Firewire HD
2 AT3032 Omnis

I run Pro Tools 5.1 on a 733mHz Mac with 1.5 GB of ram in my mac, one processor.
I never run anything at the same time as pro tools, and pro tools is what I run mostly.

hi all i,m a bit confused.i,m recording onto pro tools via an mbox.i,m bypassing it,s converters and preamp by going in spdif.This is all fine but now i want to mix down through an analog desk.What is the best way to do this ...the studio i,m going to has superb gear but no interface for Pro Tools
There is probably a simple answer to this but i dont really understand.

-safe/protect automix and scenes;(provided at the 01V);
- page up/down;
- next/back
