I Just got the Pro Tools HD and was woundering what are some good effects to use on the vox and in the mix just not only Reverb and EQ need that nice warm sound without out board gear,also how to get a nice EQ out of a live bass and kick thx for the time ...Radmaster :)

At the moment I have a low budget sound card. I need to upgrade so I'm considering whether I should buy a pro sound card or go the hack and get something like a Digi 002. The reason that I'm asking this question is because I want to use it for making electronic music. I know that it is a good program for audio but might have less options for midi.

Does Pro Tools LE 6.1 work well in Mac OS X Server environment? Just starting a new job...with 8 rooms that need to be networked. What's the best way to do it?

By surfing around the Digidesign site, i find that the update for the dual processor G5 isn't due out till lat november. Does anyone know if i can run ANY Pro Tools on this g5?

Hello :) I have been using Sonic Foundry's Vegas Audio for the past couple of years, have heard much about pro tools, can't see what all the fuss is about, but then again maybe i'm missing something. Any user comments on either. or both? :)

Hi just got back from AES and my head is spinning. Am just getting into home recording and am a Mac person (what can I say). But that being the case I am trying to choose between Logic and Pro Tools.(or is there something better for macs out there?) If I go with Logic I'm looking at the MOTO 828mkII. I think they both work out to about the same price.

I'm running PT LE w/a Digi001 into a very fast Win-tel box without any problems. I'd like to install the Pro Tools LE onto an iBook for doing some session mixing and tweaking of the primary sessions I've done on the PC. I have the Mac install disk and the software install seems to go great.
