Ihave recently installed Adobe Audition 3 on my computer and some plugins ( Eastwest quantum leap RA. .)
Is there a option that I can reciord MIDI while I play so i dont have to create a MIDI track note by note in sequencer.
That is OK if i record drums, but for pianos this work is pain in the ass.

got a problem with mastering mixed material (usually rock stuff) and making it super hot. it's superhot, but it doesnt feel superhot. there must be a problem with the midrange.

I've got an MXR KFK 10 band EQ and whenever it's in my signal path I experience some kind of slight clipping on the harder picked notes. You can hear it on this quick comparison.

I need some help setting up a midi usb cable with my current setup. I have a KORG d1200 (which is acting pretty much as a phantom power for my mic), and i HAD it hooked up through its headphone jack going to my computer which is running adobe auditon 3. Hi, I was hoping someone could help me figure this out. I have an m-audio 2496 that I have used before without problems. I built a new computer and transferred the card to it about 3 months ago. I just tried to start recording again using Sonar, but now every time I record something it has this strange bump/warble sound to it.

I have a firepod 10 connected through firewire to my pc (win xp).

The problem is that when turn on the computer and firepod everything works perfectly and then always out of nowhere the sound vanishes. That can happen eg. when listening to music/watching a movie/recording music.

I recently have gotten a new computer and it has been a nightmare trying to get things working. I have had it for about a month and have yet to record a single track because nothing is working properly. I will try to be as detailed as possible and hopefully can find solutions.
