Hello. I have a problem with output in Pro Tools. The thing is that I can't hear what I've recorded. When I'm recording it everything is fine and i can hear what I'm playing, but when I try to replay it, sound disappears. The bar whitch shows sound amplitude (I don't know the right term) is shows that something should come out.
Hey guys, this is my setup, Crown 3600 MA power amp, dbx 215 EQ, Aslhly XR 1001 Xover, Pioneer SR 303 Reverb, Digitech 1000 Time Machine Delay, Peavey Tops [run parallel] and one double 18" Sonic Sub.
Lately I've noticed that I have to use quite a lot of gain on my mic preamps to get a good level out of my Phanthera V.
I decided to use a 1 kHz sine wave to test the Phanthera against my AKG C414.
According to specs the Brauner has a higher sensitivity than the C414:
Brauner 33 mV/ Pa Cardiod
C414 20 mV/Pa (-34 dBV) +/-0.5 dB
First of all, Please forgive me for any errors, pretty new to this forum!
I own a Behringer C1 studio condenser, I also own a Phantom power supply.
I have a XLR female that plugs into the Microphone with a male ending that goes into the phantom power supply.
Hello!
Hi. If I Micing a guitar amp, and I set one mic close and the other back, which creates a tonal blend preferred by the musician, I put a delay on the first mic so that the signals are coming to the board simultaneously to avoid phase issues. I checked the wav files and they are aligned -- as well as using my ears. Sonically, all is well.
I have an Asus laptop windows 7 8GB ram, 500GB HDD and intel pentium dual core 2.20GHz Processor. I have been using this laptop with Cubase 7 upgraded from 6 without problem.
Hey guys,
Posting here because I'm out of answers and could use some help. I'll try to keep it as short as I can.
I've been running XP on the DAW I built 10 years ago with nary a problem. Rock solid. I have a $1,000 software licence on it from AudioTX that I will lose if I change any hardware, like the HD or MoBo - so that's why the unit is so old.
