I can not hear on the phones and monitor section outputs the music from my mini disk that connected to the optical input ? thanks for your halp

okay, not really one problem. I'm just completely lost. The gist, however, is this:

I want to record my SR16 in cakewalk. I want the tempo to be the same in the software and in the SR16. I don't seem to be able to get cakewalk to tell the sr16 the exact tempo (don't know the technical term). If I just set the two to the same BPM setting, the tempos are slightly off.

I just got my mbox and I am starting to mess around with it, but I keep getting a -6086 error. It says something about playback interrupt increase H/W Buffer size. So I increased the size to the maximum allowed (1024 samples) and I keep getting this error. How do I stop getting this. SOmeone please help, I want to start recording a CD so your help will be greatly appreciated

Hi, this is my first post here. I'm having a problem with my M-Audio MobilePre USB. I have an MXL 990 condenser mic and two computers set up for recording. One is a laptop P3, the other a desktop P4. Both have IDENTICAL setups: Win2K, Wavelab 5, latest service packs, drivers, same mixer settings, etc, etc.

I've been using my current set up for about 2 1/2 years no problem. Today went to record some vsti's...strange thing happened. .In nuendo while playing my part on the midi controller it would intermittently change programs. I recorded a couple bars in nuendo and pulled up the key editor. I looked to see and it did record program change information on a continus bases.

What happened:

I was fiddling around with my electric guitar plugged into a smokey
amp. I had my 16 Track Korg Digital recording on a single channel with a mic plugged into the channel. Inspired, I recorded a series of 8 songs--vocals and music-- straight into the mic.

the sampler (sampletank 2) won't recognize standard PCM .wav files as it claims it should do in manual. i need to import a set of samples from a vintage clavinet for a session i'm working on but every time i try to import them i get the error message: "invalid sample type". what am i missing here? they're standard PCM WAV file, 705Kbps, 16 bit 44.1...

I have just bought a Behringer BCA 2000 control audio unit, and am having major problems using it with Logic 5.5, and until getting updated drivers from Behringer , couldnt record or playback and music.

When recording, or playing back, i get the error messages -

' The ASIO driver recieved a reset request' and asked if i want to start logic
