"Ghetto" recording studio

I just decided to start recording my own jams at my house. I have a 0404 emu sound card. I also have a Behringer802 mixer. I go through a Behringerv-amp2 with my guitars/basses to get a good sound then into the mixer which goes into the sound card. I have an electric drum kit which goes into the mixer into the sound card, same for my mic.

Hello, Im building a home project studio for random uses, lemme give you the low down of my situation. Im currently 15, highschool student. I want to get into the midi so that is one thing I’m looking for. I have somewhere between 400 -600 dollars to spend so that is my budget.

Here are my CPU specs:

HELP (RECORDING STUDIO UNDER $700)

I would like to have a small computer based recording studio for myself. Mostly singer songwriter type recording (acoustic, electric, bass guitar, keyboard, vocals). I've saved up $800 and i would like ANYONES OPINION on what i should maybe look into or stay away from. Here is the gear i plan on getting (keep in mind i already have all the instruments).

finding a place to put a recording studio

I really need a space to open a studio. I'm getting tired of lugging gear. I am also tired of not having a legit studio space to market myself better. If I had a spce I could at least invite potential clients down to showcase and hang or whatever. I live in a condo right now. I'd prefer not to move but will if necessary.
