RME Artist - Swedish label BIS - RME's hardware and Sequoia/Samplitude software became the ideal
While researching the state of computer-based recording back in 2004 it came as a positive surprise that the time finally appeared ripe for making the switch.
VCA Faders planned for the next release of Samplitude and Sequoia
From Sequoia's website:

Samplitude Pro X2 is coming in December
They are hoping to release it in December which for N. American mean shore side in January. At the same time it is released with all of its new features, Sequoia 13 will also have a patch (free 13.1 probably) with all of the new features too.
Samplitude is as always ahead of the competition and Magix will not reveal any new ProX2 features to keep it that way.

If You're not using Samplitude...
You should be.
I've spent the last few days working within Samplitude Pro X Suite, and it is simply fantastic.
Those of you who follow the general mindset that all DAW's are the same should give this program a try.. because once you do, you won't think that way anymore.
