am trying to utilize my Roland R8 MKII Human Rhythm Composer with my DAW and I have the MIDI out of it connected to my MOTU MIDI Timepiece AV USB. I am getting a constant fluttering red led whenever I have it inserted into the MTP. I tried moving it to various ports but still, the same problem.

i'm wondering if anybody has run into a similar problem.

Hello out there in Pro Audio land. I am trying to get two MOTU Midi Timepiece AV USBs to sync and be recognized by my MAC system as MIDI ports 1-8 (Unit A) and ports 9-16 (Unit B) I have tried following the MOTU suggestions:

My art tube usb has some annoying problems. I believe it is distortion. It can be described as a distorted beep every 10 seconds or so of recording.

I had earlier fixed a crackling noise with a program from ASIO4ALL but it did not fix the 'distortion' problem.

Is this a USB hardware problem or a faulty usb device?

I am trying to set up my equipment to i can record music, listen to it, and then change the equalizer settings to make it sound better, and then use the first recording to record again with the new equalizer settings. i cant work out how to do this ! could anyone give me some tips please?

heyya I'm just starting out, but how does a midi usb cable work?

i mean, all the voices transmitted from the keyboard to the computer (software sequencer, eg. sonar) thru the usb?

so the usb end goes into the usb port whereas the other split end goes into the keyboard out 2/R?

I already have everything set up the way I wanted for doing live performances in my home studio. Currently I have everything onto one track, so we end up doing bass seperate (for editing reasons).

well heres the scene my main goal is to record my guitar riffs from my amp to my computer and there is one of these hanging around here that someone bought for connecting the keyboard, I can't even get the keyboard to record on the computer. someone wanna guide me through this is it possible to use this for my guitar
