Opinions on voice recordings
Hi everyone, I'm a wet behind the ears newbie. In the coming months I'll be doing a series of langauge recordings for a program I'm working on.
These will be done with mixers and microphones in a home studio type environment(exact equipment to be determined).

Microphone recommendation for opera voices
Hi all!
I'm a classical baritone singer and I've been exploring quite a little into studio recording. I have recorded quite a bit with my AT2020, and I was wondering what condenser microphones are there which will suit my voice better? I'm hoping to find one which is low in noise.

Voice effect California Love
What is the voice effect on the singing in California love?
It sounds like there's auto-tune on there, but something else also. It sounds like there's synthesized bends on it.
any ideas?
Thanks

Mixing Backing Vocals
Hello Everyone,
I have been trying to find out how to make backing vox sound as if they were sorrounding me. I hear it in a lot of hip hop tracks and i would like to do the same to pop, r&b and gospel songs. My question is how can i make the backing vox seem as if the are coming literally out of the speakers and sitting in front of my face. Like as if the sound was in 3D.

Voice recording/mastering
Hello people, I'm new here and dutch (so not so good in english). I've a question about recording vocals. When I record the vocals, it sound very dull. I want to hear the vocals clear and bright, so that it's the top layer of the song, and not that I can barely hear it.

Making voice deeper (speech, not singing)
I have a rather odd request. A project I'm working on requires me to make my voice deeper. This is easily achievable if I simply play around with the pitch BUT this method produces a very unnatural sounding voice.
How would you go about achieving a natural sound if this was your project?
Thank you for your kind suggestions.
Cheers,
Matt
