I'm planning to sound-isolate an already-converted garage built on concrete slab. I want to modify the walls to have mass-air-mass with two layers of drywall inside and out.

We're planning on building a house with a basement, to include a music room. I can’t "build a studio" as such, just hope to optimize construction for better isolation than what a basement would normally have. I won't be building a room within a room or anything that involved. I'm permitting a "garage" right now to put on my property. It will be 30x40 with a 10' plate and scissor trusses going up to about 12.5' at the peak. It will have my 72 Bronco it in and my tools etc, but I figure there should be enough space for a home studio too.

I have a 16 x 20 building (15' 4" x 19' 4" interior) that I intend to create a studio in. My plan is to build two walls in a V shape at one end. The V would point to the back of the studio. Another wall would extend between the V point and the back wall of the studio, thus creating a control room on one side and a vocal/drum booth on the other.
