  1. I want to record my mix on the computer, my current rig is easy to use, but I feel that the ADDA is the weak link (currently using a Flyng Cow into a DIO2496 SPDIF card and recording the mix in Soundforge 5.0.

    Choices I'm pondering are Lucid AD and DA9624 units ($1400 at mercenary) plus a Fatso JR ($2450) for tape emulation. Total this package is $3850.

    Or

    I could go with an HEDD192 for $3150.

    What would you see as the pros and cons of each option, and are there other options I should consider.
