    Don't forget MRL tapes, I think they cost more than most decks now.

    Hey Niclaus,

    just been reading through this thread, and I noticed that you were situated in Paris. Could you possibly tell me where you are going to get your tape machine serviced? It is a business, or just someone you know who is capable of doing the work?

    I've found an old Tascam 38 just sitting in a studio, but it needs a bit of caring for...

    Well, actually, the guy is a friend of mine who has been doin that for a few years, and it told me he would be willing to do it.

    I didn't get time to do it yet though, but i sure will as soon as i can.

    Sorry, i don't know any good business to do that kind of thing, but you should be able to find some people to do it in Paris.
