Console maker Solid State Logic has a new owner and it’s Audiotronix. The audio conglomerate purchased the iconic console company from majority shareholder Peter Gabriel, who’s owned the company for 12 years. SSL now joins a corporate umbrella that includes DiGiCo, DiGiGrid, Calrec and Allen & Heath.

actually this sounds like a good match to me. i only hope they will continue to make LF consoles. i've been reading that there is interest in someone beginning to make tape machines again. interesting times.

Thinking this could be great for allen and heath console line's seeing this company also owns A&H. Audiotronix must have some type of plan im just waiting to see what becomes of ssl im hoping they will develop something new an innovated for this company. in both the commercial and project studio area's.
