beginner recording music..help please.

    i want to start recording music, recording my guitar (acoustic & electric), drums, bass, and vocals. exactly what do i need to start doing this? i have looked into propellerhead's record, but what else would i need? and approximately how much do you think it would cost? also do i need multiple mics to record my drum set? thanks so much i really appreciate all the help!

    Post in the home studios/newbies section, and before you do that, search the forum. This has been asked and answered many, many times.

    This type of question appears at least twice a month these are just a few of the threads that are similar from the last two or three months. Also check out the budget gear threads, do a little research in these and post more specific questions in the newbie forum I'm sure that you'll get some help.
