Are they any good? Or who makes or has a good amp?

Eh...only ones I've ever played through were broken. I use the JBL Eons. A pair of 10" Eons can work really well (unless you need thundering bass) and, most importantly when you get old (like me!)...THEY'RE LIGHT!

Anyhow, what's you application and what are your needs?

Well I planned to use it for doing live shows and monitoring. This is probably the easiest way next to lugging an "over-sized" amp & speaker setup.

Yeah, I hear you. A keyboard amp or powered monitor is the way to go.

I'm just not a fan of the "B" stuff. I'd recommend the JBL Eon, the Barbetta (like Uncle Bob recommended), Motion Sound or Yamaha has a new small powered monitor.

Thanks Nate & Uncle Bob, I'll consider checking those models out.
