I bought a play station 3 the other day because I thought it was a more cost effective method to acquire a blue ray player, plus you get a PC and a gamer all in one.
Well whether it was worth it or not is a different issue, but what I didn't expect was the noise. The fan on this thing moves some serious air, and there for is a noise machine as well. Thats it, I just thought I would mention it to those that may think like I did. Its a ton of noise while its running.

    For your info

Weird, I've had time on the console. Didn't find it that oppressive noise wise. The bit that made me choke was when I found out my mates had payed $1000 on a payment plan then the disk drive in it packed up and it took six weeks to fix.

Six weeks. $1000. I'd charge 'em interest.
